Importing application phrases
A preliminary translation can be obtained by importing two previously translated files of the same version from an earlier version of your application. This means that you do not need to start a translation from scratch when using Visual Localize for the first time.

Exporting / importing configurable text files
Export or import existing translations into or out of other translation tools as TXT files. A wizard helps you to do this.

TMX import and export (Level 1)
Export or import your translation phrases in cross-product Translation Memory Exchange (TMX) format. This allows previously translated phrases to be reused directly in other translation memories.
